Last MLA(Multi-level activities) for my secondary school life ended yesterday. And honestly, it was really fun! Gonna make this really quick!
Day 1:
Fine dining at breeks/ Titanic exhibition/ Cartier exhibition
Fine dining was stressing, really, the instructor kept going,'stomach in, chest out!' and we had to eat in really weird ways! Honestly, I think it'll benefit us next time if we go for formal events.
MBS next. The titanic exhibition was next, it was an eye opener. If you haven't went for it, I would recommend you to go if you liked the movie! Cartier was good, but I didn't know how to admire the stuff there, so idk how to really rate it.
Day 2:
Sports elective/ Cartooning
For our sports elective, there were several choices we could pick, namely, in line skating, archery, windsurfing, dragon boating, golf, bowling and fencing. I picked archery. The e4 girls were there too! It was amazing, though slightly tiring. The coaches were really fun. Okay, I've had very little interest for art since young, so cartooning didn't really appeal to me. Plus, it was after the sports elective, so many off us were really tired and we were practically sleeping.
Day 3:
Career day!
REALLY GOOD! The heels were painful, but bearable. Took many photos with everyone and I had lots of fun! Posting photos below!

Another camera app intro. Yes you would have noticed that I'm a camera app junkie. This time, the app's called 'Fotolr PS' okay whatever, the name sounds weird but the app is amazing. Like, if you want to do a complete makeover, see yourself in different coloured eyes, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, facelifts etc. Not gonna show any steps, but I'll post the before and after pictures at the end of the post. It's really cool because it actually looks realistic, so you can actually fool someone that has never seen you before. Cool huh? Try it! ^.^

Disclaimer: Emotional post ahead, don't read if you can't relate with me.
Sometimes I wonder, is it possible to miss something so much that your heart aches? Yes, it's possible, for love. No, not bgr love, but just plain, innocent, uncomplicated love.
I remember the times when we were in sec 1 & sec 2 as if it was yesterday. Those memories, they are priceless. And I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world. Yes I might seem like a little girl who doesn't know anything at all, but it's me, deal with it. I remember our Cambodia trip like it happened this morning, when we were all teary eyed and unwilling to part with the orphanage. I miss those times, and I'm really sad that I can't relive them, but that's what keeps me going, the ups in life. Perhaps I'll take those amazing stories and tell them to my grandchildren next time, and they'll live their lives with their amazing memories and pass it on to their grandchildren. Well, I can really relate to Taylor Swift's Long Live, because that's what I think, but I can't express it. I hope that even when I've grown all old and wrinkly, all my amazing friends and I can still be having amazing times and fun. And those times in sec 3, when I made new friends, friends that I had shared secrets with which I haven't told anyone else. I guess, that's what bonds all of us. Trust. It all boils down to that. And I've always wondered why people would like me, and I haven't really gotten the answer. But I guess I don't need it, it's enough the way it is. And if you're reading this, thank you, for always being there when I need you, even if you're bloghopping or not very close to me, thank you.

Countdown to Christmas with Calista, missed her so much! It's been long since we last met for Christmas countdown! Christmas party at Calysta's yesterday. Fun fun fun. Calysta drunk was funny. Have you ever got that feeling of wanting to colour your hair but it's during a school term or when your piggy bank is almost empty from that last shopping trip?

Fret not, for this very amazing app is called Hair Color Booth will satisfy your desperate girly needs!

There're 2 versions, the free one, which is the one up there, and the full version, which costs only USD0.99. It has a wider range of colors and no watermark(I think). But since I'm a cheapo, I use the free/lite whatever you call it version. Not gonna show you the steps to do b/c I'm to lazy to, so I'll just post the pictures.

This takes less than 10 minutes to do if you have fast fingers, and even if you don't, it only takes up at most 15 minutes! WOW right?

Just a little tip, if you're planning to further edit the photo after adding the colored hair with effects, don't use dark themed effects as it will not bring out the hair color! If you've noticed the 2 samples up there, the last photo(which is the one that I've added in effects), all have bright themes! You can also choose to increase the brightness, it works too!

Yes, I've said that I'd talk about the eye mask, didn't I? This eye mask was a free sample I got quite some time back and was too lazy to use.

Since my eyebags were becoming increasingly annoying and ugly, I decided to try it out, I mean, no harm trying, right?


This photo was taken earlier in the day, before I used the eye mask, LOOK AT MY FREAKING EYEBAGS.

So, since I was free and had absolutely nothing to do, why not try the mask?

Camwhored a little while doing the mask, you're supposed to put it on for about 10-15 mins, but I overdid it because I lost track of time and put it for around 20 mins.

THE EFFECT WAS IMMEDIATE.

Wow right! Eyebags reduced by 90% and I'm not even exaggerating! Though you can't see it, I can feel the skin around my eyes to be more radiant and softer though this is the first time I'm using it! Be sure to use it the next time you have stubborn eyebags!

Date with Charmaine to study today, Jannie shocked me by appearing! Just to give me the obs tee! Aww <3 Did amath! We were stuck on the first qn of lesson 4! Btw, we were doing binomial theorem(for those of you who don't know what it is, be glad, this chapter sucks.) so we called 救命恩人(benefactor in Chinese) Jeanie for help! She said that she was in west mall lunching with her St. John people so she agreed to meet us after that! So sweet right! Anda and Calysta were studying tgt at Calysta's house(which is really near westmall if you don't alrdy know) and they went to Mac(where we were studying) for lunch! And that's how we, not so luckily, met. Anda ate her leftover breakfast(KFC) at Mac and went,'I'M EATING KFC AT MAC!' hahaha epic. And she distracted us from our studying! But they left after awhile. 救命恩人 Jeanie came shortly after that, and helped us with our work! Thanks love! <3 and we managed to finish our amath ispl! Mandy, if you're reading this, I'm sorry, but we lied when we said that we had finished our amath ispl earlier, we were stuck on the last qn for a very long time, and we thought that we were gonna finish so we told you that we had finished it alrdy! Sorry Mandy! I still love you! Sogurt as a reward for our hard work and effort at that time, yummm! 4 of us shared the large cup! Went out to study with Shermaine and Anda today!

Collected the SNSD SG support bundle at National Library @ Bugis. None of us knew how to go, so we found this very amazing thing called Google Maps which practically saved our hides.

Went out with Charmaine, Mandy, Mindy and Jeanie to watch Breaking Dawn Part 1 at Jurong Point ytd! Sorry to those sitting near us in the theatre! Yeah, we were making so much noise, but we can't help it right? It was damn funny! And half of the show involved kissing. Ugh. I kind of spoiled this small part of the show for Charmaine by saying the exact same words 1 second before it was actually said. Yeah you can imagine her face. Went to west mall to take neoprints! There photos are here! Everyone had hoods! Awesome right?

P/S: Found out something ytd to my utter disbelief. Nope, not gonna post it here! ^.^

Watched one missed call(Japanese ver) that night! Scary shit! Even though I've watched the American ver before with the E4 girls, this was totally @#$%^&*. Screaming till my throat hurt. Ohh, truth or truth that night! Fun ttm! No I'm not sharing what was said, it's kept within the people in the room! Murderer and Police! Anda and some others were arguing on whether the murderer(when there's 2 murderers) will die if the other kills him/her. Hahaha. twister was fun too!

Tonned that night with Shermaine, Yongzhi and Chongzhi. Had a heart to heart talk, it was actually the first time I shared everything that happened before with people, they are the only people that know what happened. And they shared everything too, like... everything. We started pouring everything during the next day. Now I feel damn close with them.

Anyway, end up, Yongzhi and Chongzhi slept, so Shermaine and I went to shower(YES WE ARE SMELLY PIGS) and camwhored. Photos!

Anyway, went for the Hongkong briefing today, trust me, tour briefings are boring! I asked dad why we didn't choose the free and easy package, his reply? Too mafan. (meaning: tedious) Seriously! Hahaha.

Yesterday was really awesome. I hadn't had so much fun in awhile. YES, WENT OUT WITH THE E4 GANG AND IT WAS AWESOME. I miss them so damn much, you know. You just had to be there to understand. Had a h2h with Charmaine ytd, as expected, she relates to me so well. It's good to have such an awesome secret keeper, everything off my chest. That feels good. Really, it does.

Got back CT2 Math and Chinese results today. Disappointed with my results, for math, I could've passed, so many careless mistakes. Tsk. Okay, I was disappointed with that, but not like I was really really sad, because that was my fault, my fault for not waking up early(Oh, I haven't mentioned this before, but just so you know, I set my alarm clock at 4 on the day of the math common test so that I could wake up and revise, but I didn't.) So I knew that it was my fault for not being disciplined enough to wake up and study. I was pissed, pissed with myself for not having more initiative.

Chinese. Chinese was terrible. I got a horrible mark of 23/50. And I really mugged super hard for chinese. Idk why, it seems like I'm unable to do well, unable to pass even though I really tried my best. Ms Marie wrote a really long note on my paper to encourage me, and for that, I was touched.
Here's what Ms Marie wrote for me.

I was really touched, but what was the use of it, even though I tried, I couldn't do well, not even passing. I though and thought this thru during the chinese SCT, and... I teared. I thought, maybe I can't ever do well. Maybe something went wrong. Maybe... I would never be as smart as the others. Others who didn't study but could still pass, at the very least. Shermaine saw me tear up, though I didn't want anyone to see me so vulnerable, and I was so touched when she tried to comfort me, though when she did, I teared even more. After lesson, Charmaine came in, and she saw me like that, when she found out what happened, she immediately tried to console me. She hugged me, and Idk how or why, but I just crumbled. I couldn't control my tears even though I was trying so hard to. It felt wrong to burden someone else with my troubles. I couldn't help it.

Originally, I'd planned to go to Charmaine's/ Derrick's ahmah's house with them, but I realized that I couldn't maintain that smile for that long, yes, I'm only saying this here because they won't read it. I was right. The moment I reached home and was into my room, the waterworks started again. Took a super long shower to cut out the sound from dad and mum. Perhaps you think that this is because I was really upset with my results, yeah, that's part of it, but the larger part was thinking of how I couldn't do well, no matter how hard I tried. I felt like I was useless. And when they were comparing their marks for CT2, I realized that all of them scored well, or at least, decently... All except me.

Hello, Religious Content!

Common tests are finally over, but I couldn't help worrying about my results. Then I realized that I shouldn't. Why? You may ask. Because I saw this.

It's amazing how the presence of God is so strong sometimes, how He speaks to us individually, how He conveys His messages to us thru the bible. It's like magic. When I found this, I was actually worrying about my common test results. I was awed. How God cares for me, and for everyone of us. How He understands us to such a undefinable extent. And at this point, I felt God's presence once again, this time, thru this.

God exists in our lives more than we realize, and we must put our faith in Him.

Had a nice chat with Calysta just now, I realized that,

I needed to put more faith in Him now. It's the first time I actually spoke to someone 1 to 1 on religious stuff in awhile. It's nice having someone else to talk to for awhile. Anyway, she posted this on my wall.

Remember about the mail I received earlier this month? Turns out, it was my neighbour's. She came over to collect it like, a week ago(yes, I forgot to mention this, sorry!) Luckily, I didn't send it back yet. If not, it'd be troublesome for them. My laziness paid off afterall! Hahaha.

Anyway, tomorrow's the last day of common test. Quite worried for tomorrow's humanities paper, so I'll go and nerd in a while. Mr Chun finished marking the physics paper! Though we haven't got it back yet, I'm super worried that I'll fail. Ms Marie also finished marking the chinese paper. She hasn't counted the marks, but I really hope to pass this time, considering how much I've studied for chinese. Though I don't really want to get back my papers, the suspense is painful. I really hate how I think I'm gonna do badly and I don't want to get the results back, but then again, I really want to know how much I get. I'm currently in a love-hate relationship with getting my results back.

After common test, I'll get my long awaited sleep and get rid of the eyebags. Yes. I will.

Gonna blog a little before I start mugging again.

Okay, it's really crazy. I have become a nerd. A total geek. Damn it. It seems as if olevels are tomorrow. Studying into the night everyday, it's become a habit. And if I sleep too early, I feel guilty. Damn it. Why have I become like this? Honestly? Idk. I think it's partly cause of the competition in class.Everyone's aiming high. And studying like mad. I'm gonna feel guilty for wasting my time to post this later, I'm sure. And for even turning on my com. Crazy right? I sound like one of those O-O kind of nerd now. After this, I'm gonna revise a little more chemistry. Then I'll move on to physics, if I have the time, I'll do chinese too. Though I revised chinese yesterday, I still feel like I haven't studied. We just collected the 3S2 class tee yesterday. I was totally jazzed at all the positive comments all of them gave. It's really amazing how not a single one of them said a single bad thing about the class tee. Instead, everyone's just spamming the comments with positive ones.

Today's interclass games were awesome! S2 was awesome. Even though we didn't win, we had so much fun, right? This interclass games really brought out the amazing bond S2 has, and the unity of S2. Yeah, even though I do miss the crazy E4, I'm really glad to see S2 bond so well. Realized that I'm really losing touch with E4, so I'm gonna do my best to make it up to everyone, still thinking of what to do, but in the meantime, if any of you E4-ians read this, I'M SO SORRY IF I HAVE BEEN DRIFTING AWAY FROM YOU GUYS.

How can I ever forget you guys? No, never. It'd never happen. 2E4'10 would still be the awesomest class, ever. No, it wasn't the class, but the people in it that made this class amazing. ILOVEYOUFOREVER, 2E4'10. TwoEFour, Forever.

Anyway. I'm learning Miss A's Goodbye Baby dance. In case you haven't heard it, it's an amazing song. It's been a long time since I last learnt a dance, so I'm a little rusty.

I'm not gonna deny that I'm so damn touched by all these, even though it sounds so lame and I idk whether to laugh or to cry. I miss those times.

Anyway, 3S2(my class) has this super disgusting thief. I mean, go steal

phones and stuff, they're valuable. But he/she had to go and steal 2 of my

Yep, and there's no way that anyone can stick it back, so it'll be unevenly edged. If I catch that thief, he/she is not getting away that easily. Stupid thief, no conscience at all. If he/she even has a conscience, he/she'd return it to me. Pissed max. Okay, I sound like some auntie. Moving on.

Total, we lost 2, won 5 and tied 1, PLATE RUNNER UPS! Happiness. The sunburn was worth it(though it still hurts like mad not /whimper.)!

Saw Yongzhi's brother there, at first I didn't know that that was his brother, he said that he was his friend. Then he was like,'do you know Yongzhi?' and I was like, 'Yeah, why?' Then he started asking me alot of questions about him. And I said some weird things. When we were done talking, he went,'Oh, by the way, I'm his brother.' OKAY PANIC ATTACK.

Overall, it was fun! And we were proud of ourselves. Well done girls!

Metamorphosis after that, everyone looked stunning/dashing. Calysta did an awesome job emceeing. All the performances were great too. Band was like ENCORE ENCORE ENCORE!!! And some people were like, Mr Goh(The band conductor), I LOVE YOU! Heh, it was fun! Camwhored like you wouldn't believe, and everyone kept chasing after the camera. Mdm Yeo was there, poor thing, she had to sit next to Yongzhi. Hahaha, she must have suffered, complaining so much this morning. All the couples looked good tgt, seriously. Heh. Oh well.

We ordered the class tee already! Don't have the design now, but I'll upload it once I get the tee, which is grey and pink, 2 weeks fr now. EXACTLY $15. WE PRO OR WHAT. (Y)

Happy Birthday Shar!

Okay, so this mail came in ytd, and it was addressed to this girl named Jo Lin and the mail was fr like, a blogshop. (www.therobotninjas.com if you wanted to know) and it was posted to our address. Seriously? Did this person like, give the wrong address? I can guess what's inside though, a belt. Dad didn't believe me, and he wanted to open it. I didn't let him. Heh. Gonna return it soon, not sure when. There's a return address, so I'll probably send it back. I'm a nice person, right?

Tmrw's Metamorphosis III, quite excited, I imagine that if I'm alrdy so excited, the performers and participants must be in a frenzy now. Oh, my row no is like, AA, so far behind! 坐在那儿看蚂蚁!(sit there and watch ants) SO SMALL. Must bring specs. If not I'll be blind. Can't waste my $15 just like that. And should I wear boots or flats? Hmmm... /dilemma.

Nervous, but excited! We're playing under the U18 category, so I won't be seeing Germaine on the field since she's playing U23. But, hopefully we can win something and do the school proud! Facebook and Twitter was spammed with soccer news just now, and even though I didn't watch it, I knew exactly what was going on, whenever there was a goal scored and whatever happened. Remember those times? Those times when there were so little drama? Those times when everyone was friends? Those times when backstabbing didn't occur and all we cared about was to have fun? I miss them. More than ever. Now, thinking back, I regret not having more fun, not going for all outings/gatherings. We seem to have so little time. In a few more decades, we'd return to God. I miss those times when stress was minimal, and they were just little worries of our everyday life, a prick, not like what it is now, a scar, perpetually staying with us. Looking back at the photos, I distinctly remember all the memories that everyone has given me, be it happy or sad. For that, I'm thankful. Thankful for everyone in my life, thankful for everything that I've had. I'll keep these memories with me safely, thanks so much, everyone, for existing in my life. It's a blessing to have you.

My new boots!

Oh, did I mention I got new boots? It's freaking blue and super awesome! I'm gonna show it off tmrw. I originally wanted to get these super awesome Adidas ones, but can you believe they only come in sizes 8 and above! That's just sexist! Oh, this is the pair of Adidas I wanted to get so badly!

Nice rightt! So cool lah. I can't believe the designers are so sexist! It's so freaking awesome lah! Nevermind, I got cute ones anyway. Hmphh. I'll stop ranting about this alrdy. At least I got pretty ones that has my size too!

Oh, idk why Charmaine is so obsessed with other people wearing dresses. She's like, telling me to wear a dress for Metamorphosis all day, nagging, in fact, when she isn't unless it's compulsory (Which obviously, is not.). And I have to wait to know if I can get the tickets! I should've just ordered the tickets at first, if cannot, sell. What was I thinking? :/ Stress. Okay. Maybe not that much. If I get to go, I'll probably be stressed on what to wear too. Heh. Life's tough. Can't do much about it.

Thinking of what to get for dad for his birthday. I was actually thinking of a new pen with his name engraved on it, will it be too expected? It's so hard to think of what to get, I mean, I can get like, bags, shoes, clothes, accessories for mum, but dad seems to have no favorites when it comes to these kind of things. Junliang's birthday's coming up soon too, must think of what to get for him too. Die lah, I'm gonna be broke already.
